Dear Friend,
Welcome to the Celebration of Life Church! We are a spiritual community dedicated
to spiritual transformation. We celebrate the Oneness of all life, and our community
is inclusive and honors all faith traditions. As an affiliate of United Church
of Religious Science, we practice and teach the philosophy of Science of Mind,
founded by Dr. Ernest Holmes. Please click on “About the Church”

Celebration of Life Church has been located in the Miami Valley for almost
60 years, and serves the community through various outreach programs, including
the Season for Nonviolence and the Dayton Dialogue on Race Relations. We CELEBRATE
LIFE and each other with joyful, dynamic Sunday services, social gatherings,
classes, and through community service.
I believe Life is a gift to be celebrated – there is so much to celebrate!
Dr. Ernest Holmes taught that the point of Science of Mind was to provide tools
with which we can change our lives for the better. In our Sunday services, each
person receives an idea, a tool, that he or she can use in everyday life. At
the same time, we teach spiritual practices to deepen understanding of Universal
Principles.
Our church provides many opportunities for spiritual transformation. We regularly
teach classes on the principles of Science of Mind, as well as workshops and
short courses on meditation, relationship issues, prosperity, and other topics,
including recent books such as The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. Click on “Events

Our ministries include Friends of Animals, Compassionate Care, and Ministry
of Prayer. Our licensed Practitioners provide prayer and spiritual support to
congregants and visitors. Please feel free to call our prayer line at any time

We also invite you to visit our bookstore, Angel’s Attic. Angel’s
Attic is one of the area’s largest metaphysical bookstores and offers
books, CD’s, jewelry, and gifts. Additionally, please feel free to contact

Sunday Celebration Services
Our Sunday Services are at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The sermon for each service is roughly the same, but the energy of each service is quite different. The early service is more internal and meditative. The second service has live music and lots of energy. Please wear whatever you'd like. The attire ranges from jeans and shorts to suits and dresses, so wear whatever makes you comfortable. We welcome all who wish to celebrate life with us! |

Science of Mind (SOM) 101 Study Group
This is a great group to learn about the principles of Science of Mind and Religious Science. They meet every Sunday between services. It is an open group and drop ins are always welcome. It's also free! Come learn about Science of Mind and meet people who share a similiar philosophy. |

The I of the Storm Class
What would it feel like to live without resentment, anger, defensiveness, competition, separation? What would it be like to know your purpose, that you already have all the resources you need to fulfill it, and that you can change the world?
Come and learn how to do all this and more in this 8-week class in peacemaking/conflict management and more Thursdays, May 29 to July 24.
